Westpoint is academy for officers-in-training (not the foot soliders) so it is like the place that Richard Gere went to in "An Officer and a Gentleman". It is a beautiful place where you need to know someone who has access to the facility to get in. It is just like a little village, they have their own hospital, convenience stores, 4 places of worship.

The name of this Major General was removed by an unknown person. The name that was meant to be here was that of Benedict Arnold (he was a traitor during the revolutionary war). |

Still within Westpoint Danielle and the kids took us up the the new Cadet Chapel and it was stunning. It's claim to fame is that it has the biggest pipe organ in the world. Danielle's husband Peter has on occasion played it - he is a full time organist at Westpoint.
