A Evening with John Lithgow

There's this great weekly magazine that Bryan has subscribed us to called Time Out New York. It lists every possible event that is going on in NYC for the next week. From one-off events to gallery shows to musicals/plays, to concerts, it is listed in this magazine.

Anyway, in the magazine I noticed that the New York Public Library was running a "Live" series where they spend 2 hours interviewing famous people within their field. Tuesday's session was with John Lithgow, the actor. He was fantastic, very funny and passionate about the art of acting. He was only a few feet away from me up on a low level stage. The interviewer asked him about every aspect of his life. No questions were off limits, he talked about his career and his personal life. The time went so fast, I so enjoyed it.

John Lithgow - You may know him from Footloose, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Cliffhanger as well as
the voice of Lord Farquaad in Shrek.
If you're coming to New York you may want to consider checking out the "Live" website to see if there is anyone that you're interested are in seeing. The tickets are only $25.00 per person - a lot cheaper than the on and off Broadway shows and it is something very different to do whilst you are in New York.

The website is: http://www.nypl.org/events/live-nypl

The next person I am going to see is Diane Keaton. I can't wait.
